Why we need WordPress themes

WordPress themes are made up of files and styles that together define the appearance of the site. They can vary greatly, allowing users to quickly change the design of a website. But why would you want your own theme?

  • To create your own unique website design.
  • To take advantage of templates, template tags, and the WordPress loop to display different content and page styles.
  • To create alternate templates for special sections of the site, such as the headings and search query results pages.
  • To quickly switch between two site layouts, or use a theme and style switcher to allow users to change the look of your site.
  • To make the theme available to the public and allow others to enjoy your design.

The WordPress theme also provides some advantages.

  • It separates the presentation styles and template files from the system files, allowing you to make updates without making major changes to the site’s appearance.
  • It allows you to customize theme-specific output options.
  • With it, you can quickly change the appearance of the site based on WordPress.
  • Thanks to her, there is no need for the user to learn CSS, HTML and PHP in order to make your site attractive.

But why would you want to create your own theme? That’s the big question.

  • It’s an opportunity to learn more about CSS, HTML/XHTML and PHP.
  • It is an opportunity to show your skills in CSS, HTML/XHTML and PHP.
  • It’s an opportunity to create.
  • It’s fun (for the most part).
  • If you’ve shared your theme with the public, you get the satisfaction of sharing and giving something back to the WordPress Community (you can brag about that!)
